SOS Children’s Villages Zimbabwe has established Community Outreach Programmes around the country. The Programme aims to assist and support children in difficult circumstances, in particular, families headed by a child, a grandparent or by a single parent. The Organisation works as a development partner with communities and the local authorities and seeks to address gender issues in these situations.
Duties And Responsibilities
Create an environment suitable for work and relaxation; Maintain hygienic standards in the training, accommodation rooms and kitchen facilities; Ensure that laundry and ironing of linen for both the centre and guests is done; Design and set up rooms for conferences and meetings; Ensure adequate stationery and refreshments are provided from time to time; Assist in cleaning kitchen crockery, cutlery and utensils during workshops/conferences /meetings; Assist in preparation of sandwiches and snacks for teas; Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor from time to time
Qualifications And Experience
The ideal candidate should have
Five (5) “O” Levels including English; Certificate in Housekeeping; Demonstrate an ability to work with children, men and women; A good team player
