Job Summary
We are a small but growing fresh fruit and vegetable distribution company looking for a qualified and suitable candidate to execute financial planning, monitoring, controlling, and reporting to inform business decisions for the organisation.

Duties And Responsibilities
• Tracking the company’s financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement, reporting directly to senior management/stakeholders
• Reviewing financial data and preparing monthly and annual reports which include balance sheet, profit and loss statement, cashflow statement, trends and other reports
• Financial accounting and reconciliations
• Consolidating divisional budgets then proceeding to review, monitor and manage them
• Establishing and maintaining financial and accounting policies and procedures for the company, as well as ensuring and adhering to financial regulations and legislation
• Developing and implementing risk management measures
• Coordinating and executing effective debtor management, including collections and relationship building
• Monitoring the day-to-day financial operations within the company including payroll, invoicing, and other transactions
• Maintaining customer confidence and protect operations by keeping financial information confidential

Qualifications And Experience
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or full ACCA/CIMA
• At least 3 years’ relevant experience in an Accountant position
• Working knowledge of QuickBooks an added advantage
• Must be aged 30 and below (inclusive)
• Ability to work in a team and supervising a division
• Good communication skills – both written and verbal
• Negotiation skills and ability to develop strong working relationships
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Clean class 4 driver’s licence a must
