Our client is looking for an Accountant who is experienced and has eyes on the ball to fill the vacant which has arisen in Harare

 

Duties And Responsibilities

~Processing invoices/bills into QuickBooks

~Processing bank statements into QuickBooks

~Completing bank reconciliations

~Sorting financial documents and posting them to the proper accounts

~Preparing the monthly payroll

~Reviewing QuickBooks reports for accuracy and meticulously tracing

~errors back to their source.

~Resolving errors in financial reports and correcting faulty reporting methods

~Ensuring timeous payments of statutory payments

~Ensuring that Management queries are responded to timeously.

 

Qualifications And Experience

Bachelor of Accountancy degree with 5 years post qualification experience

•       Should have worked in an Accounts Department as an Accountant for

more than 5 years.

•       Data Entry and strong Bookkeeping skills

•       Proficiency with Quickbooks (at least 5 years’ experience)

•       Excellent Skills With Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

•       Payroll Experience;

•       Experience in Balance Sheet Account Preparation;

•       Detail Oriented, organized and timely;

•       Competent IT Skills;

•       Strong Written and Oral Communication Skills;
