Accounts Clerk: Local NGO

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill in the position of Accounts Clerk that has arisen in our organisation. Reporting to the Finance and Administration Officer, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following: Assist in preparation of annual and periodic financial statements; Reconciliation of ledgers, bank and cash transactions; Maintaining up to date electronic records through Pastel accounting system in respect of all expenditures; Payroll computations through Belina Payroll; Constantly liaising with departments to ensure that all activity advances are acquitted correctly and in time; Attending to Internal and External Audit queries; Preparation of donor periodic financial reports; Preparation and compilation of Payment Vouchers

Qualifications and experience
At least a Higher National Diploma in Accounting; A Degree in Accounting will be an added advantage; At least one year relevant experience; Knowledge and experience of Donor reporting and Pastel accounting system is a must.
