Job Summary
The role entails rendering clerical support in the department’s provision of financial accounting services

Duties And Responsibilities
1. Raising and following up on requisitions and funds requests
2. Process and manage A/R and A/P
3. Issuing and reconciling petty cash and branch/department expenses
4. Monitoring and updating finance reports from branches and departments
5. Reconciliations
6. Conduct stock counts and reconciliations
7. Data entry and preparation of journals
8. Asset register compilation, updating and movement of assets
9. Computation of commissions, tax, fees, job costing
10. Prepare audit information, various reports,
11. Staff costs monitoring and reports
12. Collection and proper filing and archiving of Accounting documents and information

Qualifications And Experience
A Degree in Accounting
Relevant Professional Qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, CA, ICSAZ
Knowledge of Computers and PASTEL latest versions is essential
Any prior clerical experience is an added advantage
