Duties And Responsibilities
Initiate, monitor and evaluate HIV and AIDS Prevention programs at both companies and truck stopover places; Educating transport sector employees (mostly Long distance truck-drivers and their assistants ) and Sex Workers on HIV, sexual transmitted infections (STIs) and general wellness through company based interventions and outreaches to border post sites and truckstops along major transport corridors; Mobilizing resources for workplace HIV initiatives to augment the resources that the NECTOI uses for such purposes; Preparing monthly ,quarterly and annual reports for submission to the AIDS Project Manager.
Qualifications And Experience
Degree in HIV and AIDS /Health related studies; Relevant experience in running HIV projects and writing project funding proposals; Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and local languages; Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office packages and Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS); Willingness to travel extensively; A Clean Class 4 driver’s license; Ability to work with minimum supervision.
