Duties And Responsibilities
The role – what we expect from you:
 Develop ideas and work with relevant divisional heads to ensure the brands maximize potential and develop specific marketing and promotion of products and services.
 Ensure that the monolithic brand strategy, culture and uniqueness is clearly articulated, communicated, understood through various media platforms.


 Liaise with legal and compliance personnel to ensure that brand material adheres to trademark and intellectual property rights where necessary.
 Implement the brand guidelines within the relevant subsidiaries’ operations.
 Make updates on the Group website in liaison with the relevant SBUs.
 Provide feedback into product development and service offers and participate in their development, collaboration, launch and performance tracking of portfolio and competitor offerings in the market.


 Analyse all existing and new markets and develop new delivery channels to suit new market developments.
 Audit all products for the relevant subsidiaries with a view to improve the products and prepare quarterly update reports.


 Plan and monitor the marketing spend on the brands to maximize profitability and evaluate return on investment from the various media platforms.
 Define the media strategy, brief agencies and follow up the implementation, analyze the results of campaign strategies and report results to the appropriate parties.
 Track the key drivers of portfolio performance, including financials, marketing KPIs and competitor performance, using insights to develop course correction plans to maximize performance in market and product proposition.
 Present marketing programs and provide the sales force with all the appropriate tools to enable sales and revenue generation.
 Manage relations with suppliers of marketing collateral and branding paraphernalia and ensure their payments are made timeously.

Qualifications And Experience
Qualifications, Skills and experience required:
 A Degree in Marketing or similar from a recognized and reputable tertiary institution
 A full professional qualification, i.e. IMM, CIM or similar is essential
 A post graduate qualification, i.e. MSc, MBA or similar would be an added advantage
 At least 5 years’ relevant working experience
 Be able to work under pressure and within strict deadlines
 Ability to use Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
 Good report writing, communication skills and brilliant attention to detail
 Sound working knowledge of Digital media
 Customer Service Orientation is a must
