Chief Executive Officer – Grade 11
Duties And Responsibilities
To formulate and implement Council’s budget and ensuring that it is approved by the Minister of Local Government and Public Works within the stipulated time frame.
To encourage and coordinate investor initiatives for enhancing economic growth and local economic development in the district.
To formulate and implement Councils socio-economic development strategies
To ensure that Council is viable and delivering services to its communities
To promote the Council’s regional and international relations and partnerships
Qualifications And Experience
Any Social Sciences Degree, Business Administration, Accounting or Law.
A relevant Master’s Degree will be an added advantage.
Minimum of 5 years experience in local governance with at least 3 years at management level.
Clean class 4 driver’s license.
No criminal record.
A Zimbabwean citizen.
