Job Summary
The incumbent will report to the General Manager Operations and will be responsible for the following, among other duties:

Duties And Responsibilities
 Formulate and develop security policies for the company.
 Identify security weaknesses and develop counter measures. Carrying out security campaigns in an effort to increase awareness on crime trends in order to prevent recurrence.
 Provide operational advice to Management and in tightening security systems within the organisation.
 Responding to requests on security matters from line management and assessing security measures put in place.
 Undertake a periodic risk assessment of the assets of the organization. Recommend controls to management in light of the value against threat, vulnerability and cost.
 Conduct research on security and investigations techniques to keep abreast with new developments and cascade to junior staff.
 Analysing cases of suspected/identified criminal activities within the organisation by examining documentary and other evidence available to establish the method of operation before formulating a programme of action for security officers whilst retaining the serious ones.
 Manage incident response planning as well as investigation of security breaches and frauds and assist with disciplinary and legal matters associated with such breaches as necessary to reduce the risk of thefts and frauds.
 Leading expert evidence in courts and internal hearing during trials of cases handled by security department and when assigned to do so.

Qualifications And Experience
Qualifications and Experience
 Degree in Security or Risk Management or equivalent
 A professional qualification in security management course will be an added advantage
 At least 5years experience in the supervisory level in the Police force or Private Security Company.
