POST: DATA ENTRY CLERK x 1 (9 months)
Reporting to: Data Manager

QUALIFICATIONS, ATTRIBUTES AND EXPERIENCE.

• Higher National Diploma in Computer studies (BSc in Computer Science would be an advantage)
• Proven working knowledge of MS Office applications, web-based databases and ICT maintenance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Compile, sort and verify the accuracy of data before it is entered; Data entry of all study data timeously and accurately; Compare data entered with source documents and respond to ad hoc, statistical and routine queries from sponsors; Maintain logs of activities and completed work; Resolve garbled or indecipherable data with clinic, lab and pharmacy personnel; Assist in establishing and maintaining an effective and efficient records management system; Generate reports and respond to inquiries regarding entered data as requested; Store completed documents logically in appropriate locations; Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Filling:
• Sorting and Filling of captured case record forms and laboratory forms; Perform regular QA/QC of the case record folders to ensure compliance with the manual of operations (MOP) and the standard operating procedures (SOP); Mending of damaged case record forms; Archiving of completed study materials
Technical Support:
• Perform ICT systems administration and user training; Comply with computer usage policy of the programme
