Main Responsibilities;

•Participates in the formulation of vision and review of policies to achieve the organisation`s strategic goals
•Recommends strategies for new business opportunities
•Liaise with stakeholders to promote business development
•Sets, reviews and approves Departmental objectives
•Sets and monitors monthly, quarterly and annual Departmental performance targets and budgets
•Ensures the establishment and implementation of processes and procedures as required by ISO/ IEC 17021.
•Implements revenue generating projects and activities for the Association
•Ensures compliance to documented procedures by staff
•Implements a framework for tracking the performance of the Certification Services Department in line with the Association’s goals

Job Specifications

•Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent professional qualification
•Master’s Degree e.g. MBA or MBL
•At least 8 years’ experience, 4 years at Senior Management level
•Must be innovative and possess excellent communication skills at all levels
•Strategic thinker with a strong business acumen
•Familiarity with SAZ products and management system certification standards (ISO/IEC Guide 65 /ISO/IEC 17021, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 etc)
