Gender Training Consultant: Norwegian People’s Aid

Norwegian People’s Aid (NPA) Zimbabwe is currently seeking applications from qualified and experienced candidates to facilitate a 1-day gender training in Harare. The training must emphasize more on gender mainstreaming strategies and gender results monitoring and reporting.
Duties And Responsibilities
The purpose of the consultancy is to:
Task 1: Conduct a training needs assessment (TNA) prior to designing the training.
Task 2: Design a training programme with training content, description of process and the training tools / resources / materials to be used.
Task 3: Facilitate a one-day gender and gender responsive monitoring and evaluation training.
Task 4: To provide a report of the training.
The facilitator is required to propose an effective training methodology which must be highly participatory and interactive.
Period of assignment
1 day preparation of training materials
1 day of facilitating training
1 day report writing
Course materials that participants will use during the training and post-training; A report of the training.
Qualifications And Experience
A masters degree in Social Science, with a focus on gender and development; At least 10 years working experience in gender and development with a track record in the field of gender and development; Experience of training in gender and gender responsive monitoring and evaluation.
