Job Summary
Gala-way Management Services has been retained by one of its clients –a local FMCG company, to recruit and select suitable FIVE candidates for the position of a Graduate Trainee: Sales and Marketing.

Duties And Responsibilities
Main Duties

Presents, promotes and sells products or services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers.
Establishes, develops and maintains positive business and customer relationships.

 

Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.

 

Achieves agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
Coordinates sales effort with team members and other departments.
Analyses the market’s potential, track sales and status reports.
Supplies and stock management with regular reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
Continuously improves through feedback.
Conducts market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
Scans and analyses the environment to detect competitor activities, customer preferences.

 

Seeks out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media
Sets up meetings with potential clients and listen to their expectations.
Prepares and delivers appropriate presentations on company products and services in exhibitions or conferences
Negotiates or close deals and handle customer complaints or objections
Initiates brand visibility and standards and distributes point of sale material.

Qualifications And Experience
Qualifications

A degree in Sales and Marketing or equivalent.
At least 1 year industrial attachment experience (experience in the FMCG industry will be an added advantage)
Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
Clean Class four driver’s license will be an added advantage.
