Under supervision of the Medical Activity Manager, provide clinical management for insulin patients at Mutare Provincial Hospital (Victoria Chitepo) according to adapted and updated medical knowledge, MSF & MOHCC protocols, values and universal hygiene standards in order to improve patients’ health status, document the experience and support operational research.
Duties And Responsibilities
Diabetes with or without Hypertension in need of insulin or already on insulin
Proven experience in operational research and health system strengthening
Proven ability to develop and context-adapt guidelines and protocols
Knowledgeable in the M01•1 systems of Zimbabwe
Ability to work and effectively communicate in English and a local language with different target audiences both in written and oral.
Able to work independently, be pro-active and show initiative towards work related problems.
Ability to work under pressure and in emergency cases; autonomous and highly flexible.
Computer knowledge (Word, Excel, Power Point, E-mail & Internet) a must.
Excellent reporting and analytical skills.
Qualifications And Experience
Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surge”, Degrees (MBChB)
A Master in Public Health is an added advantage
Current Practicing Certificate with the Medical and Dental Practitioners Council of Zimbabwe
