Job Summary
1. Position: Nurse Clinician
2. Reporting to: Site Manager
3. Purpose of the position: Reporting to the Site Manager, the incumbent will provide comprehensive and quality integrated HIV health services to clients to ensure that all eligible clients are linked and retained in HIV care and treatment to promote healthy lives through continuum of care.

Duties And Responsibilities
Responsibilities
• Conducts community follow up of clients requiring HIV services based online lists received from supported health facilities.
• Supports the facility to prepare the line lists of clients requiring following up within the community using PSI and MoHCC SOPs and guidelines.
• Provides limited clinical services in the community with a focus on HIV testing, VL load specimen collection and transportation, ART and PrEP initiation and resupply, adherence support and screening of OIs and NCDs.
• Provides comprehensive clinical services in the PSI facility with a focus on HIV testing, VL load specimen collection and transportation, ART and PrEP Initiation and resupply, adherence support Quality Checklist.
• Routinely updated community lay providers on emerging program needs and standards, including the introduction of new tools and guidelines.
• Mentors and coaches CARG Leaders and other community cadres to lead quality DSD models within the community across the cascade of care.
• Together with the Evidence team and the facility partner, convenes monthly meetings for community cadres and CARG Leaders to review progress and M&E aspects within the cluster of supported Health facilities.
• Supports the MoHCC facility team with reports completion and submission.
• Actively participates in district and facility level HIV meetings.
• Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications And Experience
Requirements
• A nurse practitioner with more than three years’ experience in HIV services provision.
• A post-basic nursing qualification such as community health nursing or related training is an added advantage.
• ART / PrEP training an advantage.
• Valid Rapid HIV testing certificate.
• Familiarity and experience with MoHCC data collection tools.
• Ability and willingness to ride a motorcycle.
