Zimpost Is Looking For A PROCUREMENT OFFICER
The incumbent will report to the Head Procurement and will be responsible for the following, among other duties:

Duties And Responsibilities
Responsibilities;
 Undertaking analysis and producing recommendations to drive improvements in performance management as a result of project work, collection and dissemination of data.
 Contributing to the development of processes and the measurement thereof as required by Zimpost.
 Providing proposals and data to inform the Strategic Planning Cycle and devise the performance report framework for subsequent delivery plans.
 Providing summary data for annual report and any other audit requirements.
 Tracking national developments relating to performance management within the policing and related organizations undertaking impact analysis and making recommendations for change as appropriate.
 Liaising with key company employees to determine their product and service needs
 Monitoring business trends and product availability to pay the best price for company goods and services without sacrificing quality or delivery times.
 Identifying and researches potential new suppliers.
 Researching new products and services to meet company’s goals.
 Developing and implementing strategies for procuring, storing, and distributing goods or services and maintaining stock levels.

Qualifications And Experience
Qualifications and Experience
 Degree in Business Studies, Marketing, Commerce, Economics or equivalent.
 HND in Purchasing and Supply/Business Studies, Full CIS/ZAAT will be an added advantage
 3years experience in purchasing/warehousing.
 A clean class 4 driver’s license will be an added advantage.
