Job Summary

Applicants Projects Officer must be computer literate being conversant with CAD engineering design software. Capable of using AutoCad, Revit, MasterCAM and Solidworks.

Duties And Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities
• Compilation of project proposals and development of project budgets
• Preparations of designs, drawings and fabrication of automatic fire sprinkler and deluge systems
• Responsible for taking design concepts from Project Design Engineers and turning them in to 2D drawings, as well as ensuring that drawings are production ready in terms of cost and fit for purpose.
• Maintenance of Sprinkler Systems
• Preparation of project implementation plans and other key documents
• Producing progress reports and monitoring and evaluation of projects and assessment of the results
• Mentor and assist with the development of draughting and documentation staff as required
• Ensure all drawings are stored correctly in electronic and paper format
• Attending to RFQ and timely raising quotations
• Supervision of repairs and maintenance works
• Supervision and providing support to project team
• Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
• Recognise and work to Company and/or Industry Standards and Quality assurance • Interfacing with clients
• Any other duties as maybe assigned by the Projects Manager

Qualifications And Experience
Skills & Experience
• Degree or HND in Mechanical / Civil / Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering
• Knowledge of Fire Sprinkler Systems Designs and Installations
• Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management
• Proven experience in strategic planning
• Proven experience in risk management
• Proficient in project management software
• Computer literate in Microsoft Packages
• Good communication skills in English (written and oral)
• Competent in AutoCAD / Solidworks packages
• Experience of Managing a Team
• Knowledge of HVAC Discipline and Systems
• Experience of carrying out relevant HVAC Drawings
• Team Player/Friendly/Outgoing / Positive Outlook
• Attention to detail with a high level accuracy
• Ability to work under pressure
• Self-motivated with the ability to use own initiative
